As a Commercial Loan Processing Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in supporting the development and growth of business relationships by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant loan documentation. By partnering closely with Business Relationship Managers and internal teams, you'll help deliver a seamless, high-quality lending experience that supports both our members and the organization.


What You'll Do (Your Impact)

Provide support to the Business Services Department and internal partners to grow and maintain business relationships
Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers to coordinate loan closings and required documentation
Evaluate loan requests to ensure proper documentation of business structure and completeness of files
Review and validate collateral documentation to ensure accuracy and proper language
Prepare business loan documents accurately and within established timelines
Deliver timely and compliant disclosures in accordance with regulatory requirements
Conduct due diligence activities, including ownership verification and collateral analysis
Communicate with third parties (title companies, appraisers, flood vendors) to obtain required documentation
Coordinate and schedule loan closings in a timely and efficient manner
Monitor loan pipeline to ensure deals progress and close within expected timeframes
Peer-review loan packages to ensure quality and completeness prior to closing
Support higher complexity loans, including SBA, participation, and construction loans
Focus on preparing documentation for top-tier loan portfolios
Identify and recommend process, procedure, and documentation improvements
Take ownership of member requests and follow through to resolution, ensuring a best-in-class experience


What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Four or more years of experience with commercial loan documentation or commercial loan systems (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all levels
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, switch tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Strong mathematical aptitude, including calculations involving interest, percentages, and financial analysis
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers. The employee may occasionally reach above and below shoulder level and lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 10 pounds.


Environmental/Working Conditions

Work is performed in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Travel to branches may require exposure to outdoor and traffic conditions.


Equipment Used

A variety of office equipment, including telephone, printer, PC, and mobile devices.
