DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will provide essential administrative, budgeting, and coordination support that helps the Bureau operate efficiently. The work you will do includes financial tasks, project coordination, and daily office responsibilities that keep information and processes on track. As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Procurement Support: Review purchase needs, assist staff, and process requisitions and receipts through the Commonwealth's Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system
- Budget Assistance: Monitor budget activity, help with adjustments, and communicate financial information with staff
- Invoice Processing: Review and process invoices and resolve errors to ensure timely payment tracking
- Funds Management: Track commitments and prepare financial reports to support Bureau operations
- Project Coordination: Support annual planning and research tasks by preparing estimates and organizing program materials
- Administrative Support: Maintain files, manage training tasks, support timekeeping, and coordinate communication needs for the Bureau

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
