DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will play a vital role in keeping driver records accurate and ensuring that sanction activity is handled correctly and in line with state and federal rules. As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will perform the following duties:
- Record Updates: Review and apply changes to driver record sanctions based on information received from courts, legal staff, and other sources
- Manual Processing: Enter corrections, recalculations, and other updates that cannot be completed through automated systems
- Research Tasks: Investigate potential errors, confirm correct application of laws, and determine when changes are not appropriate
- Data Integrity: Ensure all updates account for compounding penalties and support accurate future sanctions
- Correspondence Generation: Prepare notices that explain rescinded suspensions, restored records, or changes in eligibility
- Information Handling: Retrieve digital images and work with multiple inquiry systems while protecting customer confidentiality

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
