Vantor is seeking a Senior-level Geospatial Analyst to be the Team Lead for SOCCOM. You will lead a team of multi-discipline, multi-INT analysts developing innovative, front-line products that provide actionable intelligence for decision makers in the field. Your skills and experience will add value to Vantor's advanced expertise in machine learning, computer vision, crowdsourcing, software engineering and geospatial analysis to enable USSOCOM and its component commands to rapidly sift through massive amounts of geospatial data to reveal actionable insight.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead a team of multi-discipline analysts that develop in-depth, high-quality, illustrative products supporting Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT).

  • Review team outputs/products to ensure accuracy and quality assurance.

  • Collect, aggregate, and exploit various spatial data from classified, commercial, volunteered geographic information (VGI) and remote sensing sources.

  • Develop and maintain a geodatabases containing disparate types of spatial data, which will enable the development of deliverables that provide increased analytical insight.

  • Apply various types of geospatial analytic techniques (i.e. network analysis, spatial distribution, raster math).

  • Craft custom geospatial analytic workflows that address mission requirements and project deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

  • US citizenship with a current/active TS/SCI clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • 5 years of experience in Geographic Information Systems.

  • Experience with the various geo-processing functions.

  • Experience with data management, and data visualization techniques.

  • Experience with team or project leadership.

  • Must be willing to work on customer site.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with All-Source or SIGINT analysis

  • GISP certification

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, and Washington:$99,000.00 - $211,000.00 annually.
