As one of the largest Clinical Research Organizations in the world, we have four Early Phase Clinical Research Units in the UK and US. Each site does provide 24/7 rotating coverage.

We are currently seeking a Screening Receptionist, to support the day-to-day administration of medical screening sessions, with a strong focus on participant check-in/check-out, and data accuracy.

This is a full-time, office-based position in Daytona Beach, FL.

If you join us, you will work with some of the worlds leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies in a vital stage of clinical development: establishing the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of a new drug.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will be responsible for the organization of volunteers attending medical screening sessions. The role involves all aspects of the Screening Reception Function.

Other key responsibilities:

  • Manage participant check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a smooth and professional experience

  • Perform quality checks (QCs) on documentation and screening files

  • Prepare, organize, and file participant charts and screening paperwork

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in internal databases

  • Ensure all required forms, consent documents, and GP reports are complete and compliant

  • Provide front-desk reception support while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

  • Keep the screening area organized and well-maintained

  • Accurately track attendance and support administrative reporting

  • Assist with general administrative duties as needed

YOU NEED TO BRING...

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.

  • Previous administrative or reception experience preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Professional, customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Previous medical office / clinic experience is ideal, but not a must.

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in a laboratory and/or a clinical environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.

  • Occasional drives to site locations, occasional domestic travel.

  • Exposure to biological fluids.

  • Personal protective equipment required such as protective eyewear, garments, and gloves.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in an upright and /or stationary position for 6-8 hours per day.

  • Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists to operate lab equipment.

  • Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck.

  • Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.

  • Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.

  • Regular and consistent attendance.

  • Varied hours may be required.
