About the Role As a* Data Center Technician, you will serve as a key technical expert and frontline resolver for complex hardware and infrastructure challenges. You'll work both independently and collaboratively to troubleshoot issues, maintain critical systems, and ensure operational excellence across the data center environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and takes pride in precision and reliability. What You'll Do* * Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, server, and infrastructure issues * Perform rack-and-stack installations, cabling, and equipment deployment * Execute diagnostics, repairs, and component-level replacements * Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), ticketing workflows, and change management protocols * Support system administration tasks in Linux environments * Maintain and optimize physical infrastructure (racks, PDUs, airflow, cooling) * Collaborate with team members and share technical expertise Must-Have Skills * Hardware troubleshooting expertise * Rack-and-stack experience * Data center cabling knowledge * Familiarity with Linux systems * Strong technical aptitude in data center environments Core Competencies * Exceptional attention to detail * Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and meet deliverables * Solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience Nice-to-Have Skills * Cabling and infrastructure experience * Broader hardware and data center operations exposure Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Richland, WA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
