Operations Trainer

In this role, you will train manufacturing, warehouse, or production employees and ensure standardized work processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new-hire orientation and onboarding training.
• Train operators on work instructions, SOPs, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Conduct classroom and hands-on production floor training.
• Track employee training records and certification status.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide coaching.
• Support cross-training initiatives to improve workforce flexibility.
• Work with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to update training materials.
• Ensure compliance with customer, ISO, safety, and company requirements.
• Assist supervisors with performance improvement plans and retraining efforts.
• Maintain training documentation and audit readiness.

Typical Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or training experience.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and training documentation systems.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, quality systems, or continuous improvement is often preferred.
• Ability to work on the production floor and train employees across shifts.
