The EHSS Coordinator provides administrative and organizational support to the Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security functions at the terminal. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, supporting compliance documentation, improving administrative processes, and ensuring the efficient handling of field and office paperwork. The role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and interact professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and regulatory agencies. Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of solid and hazardous waste activities, including sampling, analysis, and coordination of proper disposal.
- Maintain and update the terminal waste disposal tracking system to ensure complete, accurate, and timely recordkeeping.
- Enter hazardous and non-hazardous waste manifests into appropriate databases and tracking systems.
- Track and organize compliance-related paperwork, ensuring documents are complete, properly filed, and readily retrievable.
- Scan, organize, and digitally file field documentation, including but not limited to work permits, job safety analyses, waste manifests, inspection forms, and other operational records.
- Support document control processes to ensure records are maintained in accordance with company procedures and retention requirements.
- Assist in assigning and tracking administrative tasks related to EHSS reporting, filing, and record maintenance.
- Develop, improve, and implement processes for collecting required information from field specialists and other terminal personnel.
- Create, update, and maintain forms, spreadsheets, logs, and other administrative tools to support EHSS and terminal operations.
- Provide support to internal, third-party, customer, and regulatory agency audits and inspections.
- Assist with financial tracking for remediation work, waste disposal, security services, and other EHSS-related expenditures, with awareness of overall terminal P&L impacts.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of compliance support, or document control experience preferred.
- Experience in an industrial, terminal, manufacturing, construction, environmental, or safety-related setting is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License
- TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credentials) for access to IMTT's terminal locations.

Hours of Work
- Typical hours of operation are Monday through Friday.
- This position requires overtime and occasional weekend work as job duties demand.
- Occasional travel may be necessary, sometimes with little or no advance notice.

- This job operates in a professional office environment as well as the outside environment where temperatures routinely reach 95 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- Must be able to distinguish colors.
- This would require the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stand, or stoop, as necessary.
- Ability to perform climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling and moderate lifting.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces, over water and not be afraid of heights.
- Position is based at an operating terminal facility and requires regular interaction with both office and field personnel.

- Must be able to maintain a professional presence in a busy industrial office setting.
- The large scale of the operation and the extensive layout of the facility require that the applicant have the ability to walk and stand on uneven terrain, to climb stairs and ladders, and traverse inclines: uphill, downhill or mixed. Furthermore, because the facility and adjoining facilities handle hazardous materials, the applicant must be able to ingress and egress in foreseeable emergencies. The applicant must be able to work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
