Description

As an Administrative Clinical Care Partner (ACCP) with UCLA Health Emergency Care Unit (ECU), you will support patient care within a nationally recognized academic health system known for excellence, innovation, and compassionate service. In this fast-paced emergency environment, you bring a passion for patient-centered care while working under the direct supervision of registered nurses to help deliver safe, timely support to patients in need.

In this role, you will perform essential basic patient care tasks including vital signs, specimen collection, hygiene assistance, positioning, transfers and transport, range of motion exercises, and support with feeding and elimination needs. You will also follow strict infection control practices while accurately observing, documenting, and reporting patient conditions to the clinical team to support high-quality, responsive patient care.

Salary: $26.57 - $35.02 Hourly

Qualifications

Current California Certification of Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure OR current enrollment in a state approved nursing school program, with a minimum of one completed med/surg rotation - REQUIRED

BLS - Required
Foreign trained RN considered. CNA certification is required within one year of an appointment as a CCP.
Graduate from an approved nursing program; CNA certification is required within one year of an appointment as a CCP.
Knowledge of basic computer fundamentals preferred.
Ability to speak clearly and distinctly using appropriate English vocabulary and grammar.
Ability to understand oral and written directives.
Ability to read and write Standard English text.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic computations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
Demonstrates an understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations.
Ability to organize and prioritize work to complete assignments in a timely manner.
