Healthcare is moving beyond traditional clinic walls, and this role places you at the center of that evolution. UVA Health's Mobile Care program is bringing high-quality primary care directly into the community, expanding access for patients who need it most while redefining how care is delivered across the region. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to combine independent clinical practice with meaningful program development. You will practice at the top of your license in a highly autonomous environment while helping build and shape a growing population health initiative. The Role: This position blends clinical excellence, adaptability, and leadership within an innovative care delivery model. As the first full-time APP dedicated to Mobile Care, you will play a critical role in both patient care and the continued growth of this emerging program. Working within a mobile unit that travels to community sites across a ~40-mile radius, your day-to-day experience will be dynamic, patient-focused, and highly impactful. This role is ideal for an experienced NP or PA who thrives in independent practice, values flexibility, and is energized by the opportunity to deliver care in innovative ways. Due to the highly independent nature of this position, candidates with an Autonomous Licensure are highly preferred. In this role, you will:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of an accredited graduate school of nursing or physician assistant program with a master's degree. Experience: Department and unit specific. Licensure: License or license eligible as an Advance Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Associate, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, and Certified Nurse Midwife) as set forth by the state of Virginia. If Nurse Practitioner, license to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia is required. Must demonstrate and maintain all credentialing and licensing requirements of UVA Health System, the Virginia Board of Medicine or the Virginia Board of Nursing, and appropriate certifying bodies. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Current PALS/NRP, as required, specific to position. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as required, specific to position. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive); Repetitive motion: computer keyboard. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to noise, radiation, radioactive materials, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The pay range for this role is $116,126.00 - $171,163.20 annually.
