Quality Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role ensures operational and procedural excellence across both site-level and network-level functions by managing containment actions, cross functional partnerships, audit compliance and site improvement efforts. The role will drive continuous improvement in inventory quality, compliance, and cost efficiency-while supporting the execution of site-level quality plans and scaling network audit programs through automation and reporting.

• Network Containment Management: Coordinate and execute containment actions across the network, ensuring timely communication, tracking, and resolution of quality issues impacting inventory and fulfillment operations
• Quarantine & Disposition Oversight: Manage the lifecycle of quarantined materials, including root cause analysis, rework planning, and final disposition through approved channels (e.g., scrap, return, or reuse)
• Internal and 3PL Labor Coordination for Rework:Partner with internal or third-party logistics (3PL) providers to scope, schedule, and oversee rework activities, ensuring quality standards and turnaround times are met
• Cross-Functional Energy Quality Point of Contact: Serve as the quality liaison between GFNV/NY, Engineering, and Planning teams to align on issue resolution, process improvements, and material flow decisions
• Quality Resolution & Cost Efficiency: Lead efforts to resolve quality issues with a focus on minimizing operational disruption and maximizing cost recovery or avoidance through efficient remediation
• ICQA-WH Site Action Plan Execution: Support the development and execution of Inventory Control & Quality Assurance (ICQA) and warehouse site-level action plans, driving accountability and follow-through with local stakeholders
• Audit Program Growth & Automation:Contribute to the expansion and automation of the network audit program, including reporting enhancements, metric tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Previous experience as a cycle counter or inventory control associate and knowledge of inventory systems (WARP, MOS/MES, SAP or equivalent)
• Strong computer and analytic skills, especially Excel (intermediate level required)
• Attention to detail and a commitment to identifying data inaccuracies
• Ability to work independently on daily tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment while being adaptable to changing priorities
• Trained to operate mobile equipment, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days (Must have valid U.S. driver's license)
• Must be able to lift up-to 30 lbs. on a regular, and repetitive basis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate data analysis and collaborate effectively across Warehouse stakeholders
