As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Owensville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic utilities location where you will monitor entry points, manage access control procedures, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and document visitor and vehicle activity to support security-related operations and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions, access issues, and/or security-related concerns.
• Communicate clearly with site contacts, employees, and/or public visitors regarding access requirements, restricted areas, and reporting procedures while maintaining detailed activity records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
