Parker Meggitt, a recent addition to Parker Hannifin, is a global leader in the Commercial and Military Aerospace markets, specializing in a wide range of products including fire and smoke detection systems, extinguishing systems, bleed air overheat detection systems, actuators, rudder pedal assemblies, pumps, fuel gauging systems, and high-temperature cables. Located in Simi Valley, CA, this site is within the Fire Safety & Power Systems Division (FSPSD) and is a key supplier in select energy markets, particularly in nuclear gas analyzers and nuclear containment vessel penetration cables. We work directly with some of the largest aerospace companies in the world, including Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, and Lockheed Martin, among others. DIVISION MATERIAL MANAGER Position Summary: Division Materials Manager will provide leadership of Materials Management activities for the division in support of the Parker WIN Strategy. Will develop and execute strategies within a lean enterprise environment concentrating on people, organization, process and information technology. Responsibilities: This role is responsible for the materials management for the entire division, large site, or numerous value streams. Position will report to the Division Supply Chain Manager. Will lead materials management team members. Work with suppliers, business units, procurement, planners, I/T and other appropriate resources to strategically plan and coordinate the flow of materials and information from customers through order fulfillment. Matrix management responsibilities with business units and support groups for planning, logistics, shipping, receiving and inventory functions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
