Summary:
The Release of Information Specialist II role provides customer service support and processes correspondence and requests for patient information in accordance with organizational policies and HIPAA, State and Federal regulations. This role will assist with training of new team members.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related discipline preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: RHIT or RHIA preferred.
  3. Experience: One year of experience in Release of Information required. Previous EPIC or EMR experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Release of Information Specialist I role.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Medical terminology course - must obtain within six months of start date.
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A

The pay range for this position is $19.48to $23.14 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
