Job Summary

The Shipping Associate is responsible for accurately preparing, processing, and shipping customer orders while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting warehouse operations. This role ensures products are stored correctly, shipments are processed using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and freight documentation is completed accurately. The Shipping Associate maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting quality, environmental, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Job Responsibilities



  • Accurately prepare customer orders for shipment according to established procedures.
  • Verify products and ensure inventory is stored in the correct warehouse locations.
  • Label, package, and process shipments using approved freight and shipping systems.
  • Process shipping transactions and maintain accurate records using the ERP system.
  • Verify shipment accuracy prior to dispatch.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Prepare materials and shipments for upcoming shipping activities.
  • Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
  • Support quality management, environmental management, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Assist with general warehouse operations as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Previous experience in shipping, warehouse operations, logistics, or distribution preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of shipping procedures and freight processing.
  • Ability to accurately process shipping documentation and inventory transactions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.


Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


Work Experience



  • Previous experience in shipping, warehouse operations, logistics, or distribution preferred.
