Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:



  • As a Federal Contractor, Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check and a pre-employment drug test, including marijuana.
  • Previous CNC Programmer experience required
  • Must be able to speak, read and understand English
  • Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
  • Operation of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure


What You Do:



  • Create and update CNC programs using Mastercam.
  • Build and modify 3D models and engineering data in SolidWorks.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and convert them into toolpaths and machining strategies.
  • Generate detailed setup sheets to support machinists on the shop floor.
  • Select tools, speeds, and feeds appropriate for materials and part geometry.
  • Simulate toolpaths to verify accuracy and prevent crashes or machining errors.
  • Collaborate with machinists to validate programs and resolve machining challenges.
  • Optimize programs to improve cycle times, tool life, and part quality.
  • Review parts for manufacturability and provide feedback to engineering.
  • Maintain organized program files, revision histories, and documentation.
  • Work with quality teams to ensure programs meet dimensional and tolerance requirements.
  • Perform test runs and adjust programs based on machine behavior or part inspection.
  • Support continuous improvement and kaizen initiatives related to machining.
  • Communicate with supervisors and operators regarding job priorities and changes.
  • Troubleshoot machine, tooling, or programming issues as they arise.
