Position Summary: The Facility Maintenance Technician performs preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance to keep building systems, utilities, and facility infrastructure operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. This role supports day-to-day operations by responding to service requests, completing work orders, maintaining compliance with site procedures, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams as needed. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; reach, stretch hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, push & pull objects, rotating and repetitive movements, climb stairs and must be able to see, talk or hear. The employee must lift up to 50 pounds; and/or move and/or transport objects/waste. Exposed to variant shifts and extended hours. Subject to stressful environment.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee very frequently works in operational environments (Utilities and Machine Shop Areas, among other areas). The noise of these work environments can vary from typical office noises to high (above 85 dBA) machinery noises and high temperatures. Also makes use of computer programs such as CMMS, Intranet portals, and Microsoft office among others. Position can require traveling between locations.
