Job Description
1.0 Purpose: The primary function of the Safety Advocate is the implementation and ongoing development of the Safety Program and Safety Initiatives at the Bowling Green, KY site. Associate will not be involved in any disciplinary actions. Associate may be asked / required to participate in internal investigations. 2.0 Location: Bowling Green, KY (BOKY) Facility 3.0 Responsibilities:

4.0 Qualifications: 4.1 Skills
4.2 Education and/or Equivalent Experience
4.3 Physical Requirements/Work Environment 4.3.1 Must be able to work eight (8) hours per day, five days per week. Overtime may be necessary. (flexibility to accommodate all shifts when needed) 4.3.2 Office environment; temperature range 65-85 degrees, depending on season. 4.3.3 Noise level is usually 87dB. 4.3.4 Minimal plastic purge fumes, normal level of dust and odor associated with an office environment at a plant site. 4.3.5 Must be able to wear PPE, such as hairnet, safety toed shoes, earplugs, and beard net (if applicable). No jewelry allowed on production floor. 4.3.6 Will lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally during the day. 4.3.7 One to two hour intervals of sitting in a back supported chair doing paperwork, having telephone conversations and attending meetings. 4.3.8 Single arm movement for writing, reading, computer operation, calculator and copy machine. 4.3.9 Good visual ability, ability to read printed material up to 1 hour intervals at computer screen. 4.3.10 Must have good phone skills, ability to interact with other employees, outside contacts and counterparts throughout the Amcor organization.
