Now Hiring Machine Helper Location: Crystal Lake, IL Pay Rate: Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Schedule:2nd Shift \| Monday-Friday \| 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM Steel, Skill, and a Steady Hand. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Ability to pass pre-employment reading and ruler tests Minimum of 6 months of experience operating or assisting with coating machines, lamination machines, extrusion machines, or complex automotive mechanical equipment Ability to accurately read a ruler or tape measure Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals Ability to calculate footage for production jobs Forklift experience is a plus Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. Ability to push, pull, and maneuver large material rolls using equipment Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, stretch, reach, and lift throughout the shift Ability to work around chemicals and occasional strong odors Job Duties Install and align primary and secondary roll stock for production Mix adhesives according to product specifications Perform viscosity checks every 30 minutes and record results Remove completed rolls from the winding equipment as directed Monitor machine startup to ensure proper roller alignment Notify the operator of production or equipment issues Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility Assist with machine setup and production operations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Train toward Coating Machine Operator certification Perform additional duties as assigned Benefits Good Weekly Pay Solid Benefits: Medical, dental, vision Life and Disability Coverage Optional 401(k) to stack your savings Safety always comes first The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
