Legal Assistant

The Clay County Attorneys Office is now accepting applications to be considered for a Full-Time Legal Assistant.

Starting Salary: $25.43 per hour Pay Range for the position is $25.43-$35.33 per hour

Shift: Day Monday-Friday

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Associates degree or a two-year college or technical certification
1-3 years prior experience
Ability to successfully complete a background check

* Preparing pleadings in criminal, civil, and juvenile cases
* Preparing subpoenas
* Sending out discovery
* Electronic filing and serving court documents
* Managing court hearing and trial calendars
* Receptionist duties as needed
* Other duties as assigned
