Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $320,000 - $509,000. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. See Professorial Series (Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, In Residence, Ladder Rank) and Professor of Teaching Series - Health Sciences Compensation Plan. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Application Window Open date: July 16, 2026 Next review date: Sunday, Aug 16, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Wednesday, Jun 30, 2027 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology invites applications for a faculty position in the Health Sciences Clinical Series (nontenure track) at the level of Assistant Professor or higher, commensurate with qualifications. This position is within the Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) and is dedicated to providing exceptional clinical and surgical care to our diverse patient population. The Division of URPS is a dedicated team of four board-certified URPS educators. We are proud of our nationally recognized threeyear integrated fellowship in partnership with Kaiser Permanente of Orange County. To promote our research mission, the division provides faculty with departmental statistical support, a director of research, clinical research coordinators, seed funding, and a regulatory coordinator. There are ample opportunities to collaborate with basic and translational scientists across multiple disciplines and departments. Responsibilities include private patient practice, supervision and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, engagement in scholarly activity, and participation in general faculty duties. We seek individuals who are enthusiastic about contributing to our fourfold mission to discover, teach, heal, and serve. Candidates must hold an MD or MD/PhD and possess a California medical license and Drug Enforcement Agency certificate by the start date. Applicants must be eligible for or certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and have completed accredited subspecialty training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, with subsequent specialty board candidacy or certification.
