Adjunct (Online MSL) - Law Law The University of Illinois College of Law invites applications for Course Content Developers to create multiple 8-week online courses for its innovative Master of Science in Law (MSL) program, launching in Spring 2027. The MSL program targets professionals in business, tech, and related fields, offering concentrations in Business Compliance and Tech & Privacy. We seek dynamic experts to develop courses in AI Ethics & Bias, Individual Employee Rights, and Cybersecurity. Successful candidates may transition into lecturer roles, delivering courses and contributing to future course development. Responsibilities: * Design multiple 8-week online courses (2-3 preferred, based on expertise), including learning objectives, weekly modules, assessments (e.g., quizzes, case studies), and interactive activities. * Develop engaging, practical content for non-lawyer professionals, incorporating real-world scenarios and industry-relevant examples. * Collaborate with the MSL program team to align courses with program goals and accreditation standards. * Create accessible materials (e.g., video lectures, readings, discussion prompts) for the program's learning management system. * Meet project milestones, with course drafts completed by March 31, 2026. * (Optional) Serve as a lecturer for developed courses post-launch, delivering content and engaging with students online. * (Optional) Contribute to future course development for MSL program expansion. Appointment InformationThis is a 100% full-time Academic position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 8/16/2025.
