Job Summary:

The Operations Crewmember will support all functions of the airport advertising program on-site at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL). This role involves maintaining signage condition and operations, ensuring all advertisements are in excellent condition, and assisting with installations and material management activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks within a fast-paced airport environment.
  • Inspects and maintains displays:
    • Inspect all display locations daily, including illuminated printed, direct application, free charge stations, digital, and specialty assets to ensure they are clean and in good working order.
    • Maintain all signage conditions and operations, including daily function, installations, and material management activities.
  • Installations and Material Management:
    • Safely hang client or airport copy (display creative) or assist with installs as needed.
    • Receive and prep copy/creative for illuminated signs for posting.
    • Maintain proper receiving records and post copy using proper safety equipment and tools provided.
    • Distribute and display client brochures and magazines, ensuring they are presentable.
  • Exhibit Management:
    • Oversee/assist with delivery, installation, daily operations, and load out of exhibits within the airport.
    • Work with installers of non-traditional products on receiving, storing, and installations.
    • Maintain all facets of inventory to support sales efforts.
    • Measure new inventory to provide product specifications to independent contractors and sales team.
  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Communicate all airport issues, including changes to terminals, to Operations Manager and Market Manager.
    • Notify Operations Manager of any new products or signage found at the airport.
    • Report any issues or complaints.
    • Provide escort or access for vendors or client tours as required.
  • Administrative and Compliance:
    • Manage operational administrative requests.
    • Maintain good working relationships with airport and terminal managers.
    • Manage and maintain service centers at airports within the market area (if applicable).
    • Perform daily airport walks via a set plan to identify, track, and resolve issues.
    • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of all static units.
    • Support all static installs/removals to campaign start/end.
  • Digital Operations:
    • Assist Operations Manager in identifying and troubleshooting digital issues.
    • Perform overnight work and/or CCA representation when necessary.
    • Share "Best Practices" with other market ops teams on bi-weekly operations calls.
    • Perform daily/weekly photo and video capture of passenger traffic and/or posted campaigns through the Market Manager's request and/or the POP process.
  • Meetings and Initiatives:
    • Attend airport operations meetings, testing, evaluations, etc., related to CCA inventory and/or changes required by the airport or new inventory installs.
    • Contribute sales-related ideas and participate in brainstorming exercises targeted for sales initiatives.
    • Aid in the distribution and maintenance of TSA bins and carts as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Job Qualifications

Education and Certifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience.

Work Experience 3+ years of related work experience, preferably in the field of Project Management and/or facilities maintenance.

Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret verbal and written requests and directions
  • Must have ability to learn and use company and customer system(s)
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot basic digital components
  • Competent in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, pull, push and position ladders, material and equipment, occasionally more than 50 pounds. Employee is required to climb ladders and/or stairs and walk long distances within the airport daily. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • This job is generally performed in a temperature-controlled airport environment. The requirements of the job include occasional exposure to dust and fumes. Duties are occasionally performed evening or late-night hours.

Other Requirements

  • 10-year FBI Background check required for airport security badging process
  • Access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
