This is a full time remote role. Applicants residing in MD, VA, DC, PA, DE and FL will be given first consideration. Summary: The Coding Educator is responsible for developing and delivering coding education programs to support coding accuracy, regulatory compliance, and revenue integrity within professional billing operations. Conducts coding audits and reviews to evaluate coding accuracy, identify documentation or coding trends, and determine targeted education needs for coding staff and providers. Utilizes audit findings, regulatory updates, and payer policy changes to design and deliver training initiatives that improve coding quality and documentation practices. Collaborates with coding leadership and operational teams to address coding discrepancies and support continuous improvement in coding performance. Ensures coding practices comply with federal, state, and payer regulatory requirements as well as organizational coding policies and guidelines. Job Functions:

Salary Range: Minimum 31.53/hour - Maximum 52.06/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
