| Essential Job Duties |
The temporary Research Assistant will support the analysis of long-term research data from the Center for Environmental Farming Systems (
CEFS). Day-to-day responsibilities will include organizing, cleaning, and managing datasets; writing Python and/or R scripts for data processing, statistical analyses, and reproducible workflows; and analyzing treatment effects of long-term regenerative farming practices on soil, crop, and environmental outcomes. The Research Assistant will create figures, tables, and data visualizations to summarize results for project reports, presentations, and publications. The employee will also assist with interpreting results and contributing to project deliverables. Routine responsibilities may include attending project meetings, sharing progress updates, collaborating with faculty, staff, students, and other research team members, and maintaining organized records of code, datasets, outputs, and analysis decisions. |
