JOB PURPOSE

The ERM Team Member willassisttheEnvironmental Supervisor in the daily monitoring of lagoons and lagoon levels.Assistsin the maintenance of equipment associated with the lagoons such as sprinklers,pumpsand motors.

RESPONSIBILITIES& TASKS



  • Assistcoordinators in pumping procedures including paperwork and scheduling.


  • Oversee routine maintenance on company equipment


  • Apply extensive knowledge on sprinklersystemand troubleshooting on irrigation motors.


  • Ability to trouble shoot and knowledge on small motors


  • Set up pumping equipment including but not limited to movingpipe, setting up risers, setting up reel rains and motors.


  • Preform soil,waterand lagoon effluent samplingat company sites


  • Operate machinery forsolidsseparation and compostprocess.



REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or1-3months related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Ability to read andcomprehendsimple instructions, short correspondence, and memos preferred.Ability to write simple correspondencepreferred.


  • Bilingual, Spanish and English preferred but not necessary.


  • A valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record (MVR)required.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Theemployee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionallylift upto 100 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORKENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is commonly exposed to airborne particles and gases at low concentrations.The employee isfrequentlyexposed to waste material,feedand hog dust.

NORMALWORKSCHEDULE: The hours and days of work areestablishedby departmental needs and at the discretion of management.After-hours,weekendsand overnight travel as requested.
