Promega Corporation
United States, Wisconsin, Madison
Jul 21, 2026
Job Description

OUR TEAM: Our three-person AV Services team punches above its weight, managing infrastructure that touches nearly every meeting space on campus. We're bringing in temporary project staff to help with a major technology rollout, and you'll gain hands-on exposure to enterprise AV platforms, installation techniques, and troubleshooting across diverse equipment. We're collaborative problem-solvers who value practical knowledge sharing, and you'll work alongside experienced technicians who are happy to help and explain the 'why' behind deployments.

YOUR ROLE: In this temporary summer role, you'll support the installation and deployment of new audiovisual equipment across Promega's campus meeting spaces. Your day-to-day work will include: preparing and staging devices for installation, running cables and audio connections, configuring new equipment, testing systems to make sure they work reliably, and assisting with troubleshooting when issues come up. You'll work both independently and alongside our permanent AV team, learning different platforms and equipment types as you go. By the end, you'll have helped upgrade dozens of meeting spaces and will have gained solid hands-on experience with professional AV systems used by enterprise companies.

JOB OBJECTIVE: Support the Manager of Corporate Audio/Visual and the AV technical team by providing hands-on installation, configuration, and deployment of Cisco AV devices across Promega campus facilities. Additionally provide flexible support for production events and special meetings when needed.
