Sr. Supervisor, Production Engineering


The Senior Supervisor will lead a focused team of 3-5 engineers within a specific sub-discipline (project, design, or process). This role is responsible for task execution, schedule adherence, contingency and capacity planning, and coaching team members. Success requires strong cross-functional collaboration to drive impact across the site organization.



Key Responsibilities:


Leadership & Planning



  • Lead NPI, yield improvement, and rework reduction projects.
  • Set team priorities aligned with company goals and tech trends.
  • Collaborate across Engineering teams, leverage and implement best practices.


Product & Process Development



  • Engage with internal customers and program teams to align product/process needs.
  • Monitor team performance using MOS tools.
  • Partner with Repair and Manufacturing Cells to implement new products/processes.
  • Manage resources and budgets, report project status, and impact to leadership.


Process Optimization



  • Continuously improve processes and promote Operational Excellence.
  • Enforce 5S principles and ensure compliance with IPM/QPM and ISO-9000.
  • Uphold MOS standards.


Coaching & Mentoring



  • Develop team capabilities through coaching and training.
  • Ensure team alignment with company goals through clear communication.



Education & Experience:



  • BS Engineering in Aerospace, Materials, Mechanical or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 6-years' experience in Aerospace or Industrial gas turbine manufacturing, or component repair
  • Previous Supervisor experience
  • Detail knowledge of gas turbine component manufacturing, or repair processes
  • Capable of developing and monitoring project budgets, schedules, resource needs, and timelines

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.


The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
