Meet the Team The Strategic Business Development and Deal Structuring team at Splunk, a Cisco company, accelerates enterprise growth by shaping high-value commercial transactions and modern consumption models. We serve as trusted advisors partnering directly with field sales leadership, business units, product specialists, and finance to architect competitive solutions for leading global enterprises. Our team culture thrives on collaborative problem-solving, agility, and mutual support, approaching high-stakes deal negotiations with creativity and kindness. Operating at the forefront of Cisco and Splunk's unified security and observability platform, you will help organizations scale their digital resilience while driving substantial recurring revenue growth. Your Impact Architect and structure complex, multi-year enterprise sales transactions exceeding $1M to accelerate deal velocity while safeguarding business health and margin guardrails. Lead customer-facing commercial negotiations in partnership with Account Executives, articulating value-based buying programs and innovative consumption models. Manage the end-to-end order document lifecycle by drafting custom business language and coordinating approvals across Legal, Finance, and Revenue Operations. Partner with Product Management and Marketing to identify market expansion opportunities, displace competitors, and build a robust pipeline of high-margin deals. Minimum Qualifications

For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid. The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below: New York City Metro Area: $220,100.00 - $333,600.00Non-Metro New York state & Washington state: $196,400.00 - $303,200.00* For quota-based sales roles on Cisco's sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined. ** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements. | |
