Atrius Health, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our established primary care practice in Boston's vibrant Copley Square neighborhood.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to adult patients
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Conduct preventive care visits and wellness screenings
  • Develop and coordinate individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with specialists and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated care
  • Promote patient engagement, education, and shared decision-making
  • Utilize population health and quality metrics to improve patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Required Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Active, unrestricted Massachusetts medical license or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Active DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (MCSR) or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of outpatient primary care experience
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered, value-based care
