Are you a visionary color expert ready to define the visual language of future apparel collections? This pivotal role offers you the chance to translate cutting-edge trends and consumer insights into compelling color directions that will directly influence how products resonate with consumers globally. You will be instrumental in bringing seasonal concepts to life through thoughtful and market-relevant color palettes, leaving your mark on globally recognized products and contributing to the visual narrative of a world-class brand.

What You'll Do



  • Develop strategic color direction and build thoughtful, market-relevant color palettes.
  • Apply color across apparel products, bringing seasonal concepts to life.
  • Create compelling color stories and visual narratives.
  • Develop mood boards and presentation materials to communicate creative concepts.
  • Present color concepts and confidently articulate the thinking behind your work.
  • Collaborate with designers and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
  • Stay closely connected to fashion, consumer, cultural, and marketplace trends.


Required Qualifications



  • 5+ years of professional experience in apparel color design.
  • Strong expertise in color strategy, palette development, and color application.
  • A portfolio showcasing color storytelling, mood boards, and a variety of apparel experiences.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in design, fashion, textiles, or a related field - or equivalent experience.


Nice to Have



  • Experience with outdoor, streetwear, performance, activewear, or technical apparel.
  • Experience balancing fashionable aesthetics with functional/utilitarian product needs.
  • Background working with a major global or Fortune 500 brand.
  • Experience in entrepreneurial or startup-like environments.
  • Strong understanding of fashion, color, and marketplace trends.
