About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting engineering and operations. This position is crucial for maintaining accurate facility data, coordinating construction projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your contributions will directly facilitate the efficient execution of projects, helping to power communities and maintain vital energy infrastructure. Key Responsibilities



  • Provide essential location data for company facilities to both internal teams and external construction and maintenance personnel.
  • Manage the distribution, monitoring, tracking, and archiving of external construction project plans.
  • Oversee and administer access to various internal support platforms.
  • Perform basic maintenance and editing of existing internal support platforms as required.
  • Generate facility map packets for private and public projects using specialized mapping software, delivering finished products to government agencies, engineering consultants, and other third-party customers.
  • Receive and distribute project notifications for public improvement projects to the appropriate company manager or designer.
  • Create notification numbers for engineering projects to ensure proper tracking.
  • Apply for Right-of-Way (ROW) permits from state and local government entities for engineering, construction, and maintenance projects, diligently following up until approval is secured.
  • Submit 48-hour notifications of intent to commence construction projects to relevant state agencies and other required entities.
  • Digitally sign client plan sets when mandated by local government entities.
  • Coordinate easement encroachments for various engineering projects.
  • Facilitate the coordination of supply shutdowns between internal teams and external partners to minimize disruption.
  • Prepare and dispatch comprehensive construction documentation packages, including required construction drawings, work orders, environmental reports, and budget approvals, to all concerned parties.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office suite and specialized mapping and enterprise resource planning software to support engineering activities.
  • Perform additional duties as directed to support engineering and operations teams.


Must-Have Qualifications



  • High School diploma or GED.
  • No prior experience required; we welcome enthusiastic individuals ready to learn and grow.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability to navigate challenges efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player and exhibit a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and standard office equipment.
