This position partners with Wealth associates on the management of large institutional investment clients. Acts as a liaison between the Capital Management Group ("CMG") and clients in informing on investment policy development, asset allocation, performance analysis and reporting, and manager structure. Supports Wealth Management servicing and business acquisition goals through excellent client service, investment expertise, and portfolio management. May provide leadership or guidance to less experienced associates in the work group.


Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Portfolio Management - Reviews client portfolios to identify potential risk, propose changes, and ensure compliance with all applicable policies or procedures. Analyzes prospective client's current investments in order to recommend appropriate portfolios for their needs. Ensures necessary portfolio changes are implemented.

-Relationship Development - Facilitates the management, satisfaction, and retention of existing clients through a variety of support tasks. Serves as the primary investment expert for client inquiries, review meetings, and investment updates. Handles complex or escalated client issues.

-Investment Expertise - Maintains a strong knowledge about all investment services provided by First Citizens. Explains the Bank's investment options and conducts informational training sessions on CMG initiatives and capabilities. Gives presentations to groups of prospects on the economy, capital markets, and investing in order to elicit sales.

-Business Support - Partners with other associates on the development of new business opportunities. Utilizes investment expertise to quality prospects and support sales to institutional clients. Assists management with special projects or significant high net worth cases. May provide oversight or guidance to less experienced strategists.

Position Specific Skills:
Familiarity with investment analysis and applications, Portfolio Management, Business Development, Regulatory Compliance and Risk Identification

Qualifications:
Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 12 years' experience in Selling Investment Services and Relationship Management with institutional clients

Preferred Licenses or Certifications: Series 65 license; and/or Certified Financial Analyst ("CFA")
