TSC's Commercial Product Cell (CPC) is seeking an Engineering Manager (onsite) with deep technical domain expertise in RF/microwave systems, radar architecture, and electronic warfare payloads. You will manage a multidisciplinary team driving rapid product development, field deployment, and production scale-up for unmanned systems and tactical defense applications. Serving as the primary operational lead for the team, you will translate the strategic vision into sharp daily execution.

While the Chief Engineer drives the overarching multi-week and long-term technical roadmap, you will own the onsite, day-to-day operations assuring engineering milestones are hit, multidisciplinary integration runs smoothly, and technical rigor remains uncompromised

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Serve as the day-to-day operational execution lead for the CPC engineering organization, translating the Chief Engineer's vision and long-term technical strategies into clear weekly priorities and sprint deliverables.
  • Team Management & Process: Directly manage, mentor, and resource a multidisciplinary team of hardware and software engineers to maintain high productivity and accountability.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide hands-on Subject Matter Expertise (SME) oversight for RF/microwave systems, radar architectures, and EW payloads across NRE and production activities.
  • Rapid Lifecycle Execution: Drive projects from concept and board-level design to field demonstrations, qualification, and transition to production for defense and commercial platforms.
  • IRAD & Proposals: Support internal research and development (IRAD) programs, assist technical proposals, and assess industry RFIs to align product builds with strategic customer demands.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering or related discipline and minimum 10 years of experience in DoD industry or combination of years of experience and education.
  • Experience with the following:
    • 5+ years management of multi-disciplinary engineering team
    • Demonstrated technical leadership and subject matter expertise.
    • Demonstrated experience in developingand deploying engineering processes and practices
  • Technical SME: Proven background in RF/microwave design, radar system architecture, or EW payload development.
  • Clearance: US Citizenship required; ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess excellent organizational and communications skills.
  • Able to prioritize work and maximize productivity.
  • Experience with MANET, Radar, SIGINT, and/or electronic warfare product development
  • Experience managing resources across different geographical areas.
  • Experience working in both DoW and commercial industry.
  • Experience in qualifying and transitioning a design/product from engineering to production.
  • Experience developing, improving engineering and engineering management processes.
