Responsibilities Looking for a challenging position in software development? Come join Keysight for a summer internship in Colorado Springs and help us build AI-powered features into the digital measurement instruments engineers depend on. You'll learn how to apply your engineering coursework and knowledge in software development to solve real-world problems. About the Job You will be part of an Agile software development team and will work on the design, implementation, and testing of AI-powered software features for Keysight digital instruments, including sampling and realtime oscilloscopes, BERTs, and AWGs. You will be assigned a self-contained project at the start of your internship, chosen from the team's active work so that it delivers something the team keeps using after you leave. Projects span the range of what the team builds: applying AI and machine learning models to measurement problems, building agentic and LLM-based features, and creating the test and evaluation tooling those features need. This internship is a deliberate pipeline into our full-time R&D Engineer openings. About the Team We are not a research group: everything we build is aimed at shipping into products engineers depend on, working alongside the product teams that own those roadmaps. The team has a mix of new and experienced developers with a broad range of skills, and is eager to help you succeed. You will be paired with a mentor on the team and will report to the engineering manager, with regular guidance from the Solutions Architect. Responsibilities
