Meet the Team
Galileo, now part of Cisco, is building technology to make AI agents more observable, measurable, and resilient in enterprise environments. Our Agent Resilience platform helps organizations understand how AI agents are performing, evaluate their quality through AI-specific metrics, monitor token usage and cost, and apply runtime controls to help agents make safer and more reliable decisions. Within Cisco, Agent Resilience Team sits at an exciting intersection of AI, observability, security, and infrastructure. Our technology is integrating with platforms such as Splunk AI Observability and has the opportunity to extend across Cisco's broader portfolio-from applications and AI agents to infrastructure, networking, and security. This creates a unique opportunity to build AI experiences that operate across complex, multi-agent enterprise environments. You'll join a fast-moving, collaborative product engineering team that brings together backend and front-end engineers, AI researchers, product managers, and designers. The team owns key areas of Agent Resilience, including observability, AI metrics, tokenomics, budgeting and alerting, and runtime agent control. Your Impact
As a Senior Backend Engineer on the Agent Resilience Team within Galileo, you will build scalable backend services that power agent observability, metrics, token usage, and other AI resilience capabilities. You'll work primarily in Python and Go and collaborate across engineering and AI teams to build reliable, high-throughput products for enterprise environments.
Success in this role means consistently delivering reliable, scalable backend functionality, improving application performance as usage grows, and collaborating effectively across the team to bring Agent Resilience capabilities to enterprise customers. Minimum Qualifications
