Schedule: 9/80 hrs/Week. - (1 st shift)
About the Opportunity:
  • We're looking for an experienced Electronic Test Technician to support the setup, testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of sophisticated electronic, electromechanical, RF, optical, and digital test systems.

What You'll Do:
  • Set up and execute tests using engineering documentation, schematics, drawings, manuals, and written instructions.
  • Verify test equipment calibration and software licensing, and assemble custom or commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) test fixtures and equipment.
  • Operate a wide range of RF, optical, and digital test equipment, including network and spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, OTDRs, BERTs, DMMs, lasers, and power supplies.
  • Run automated testing through LabVIEW and TestStand, record test results, document failures and anomalies, and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot failed assemblies with engineering guidance, perform calibration and alignment checks, and provide recommendations for resolving technical issues.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 8+ years of experience in operating RF and Digital test equipment and technology.
  • 8+ years of experience in computer operation.
  • 8+ years of experience running automated tests.
  • 8+ years of experience in Windows, navigating directories, and MS Office programs.
  • 8+ years of experience in strict documented processes.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Associate Degree.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work with small/fragile/detailed parts.
  • Experience handling very sensitive and fragile hardware, including mating and de-mating high-density connectors, RF and optical connections.
  • Experience with qualification testing, including vibration, thermal, and thermal vacuum testing.
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.
  • Forklift and Crane Certification/Experience.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Willing to work overtime as requested.
  • Requires an active Secret clearance.
