What You'll Do:

  • Prepare banquet spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), including setup of tables, chairs, linens, and service items

  • Greet guests warmly and ensure they are comfortably seated and attended to

  • Serve meals and beverages efficiently and professionally, following service standards and event timelines

  • Monitor guest satisfaction, refill drinks, and respond to requests with attentiveness and care

  • Clear and reset tables between courses and after events, maintaining cleanliness and organization

  • Collaborate with banquet leadership and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely execution

  • Support buffet and beverage station setup and maintenance as needed

  • Handle guest concerns discreetly and escalate issues when appropriate

  • Uphold Loews Hotels' brand standards in every interaction and service moment

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support successful event execution

  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards

  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs

  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications Include:

  • Two to four years' experience in a mid-high volume banquet operation within an up-scale, hotel or convention center banquet operation, preferred

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent

  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift/pull/push 35 plus pounds regularly throughout the shift

  • TIPS (or Local/State alcohol training equivalent) Certification required or ability to obtain

  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
