Job Summary

The Class B CDL Driver / Warehouse Associate is responsible for delivering materials using an automatic flatbed truck while also supporting warehouse operations. The role is approximately 75% driving and 25% warehouse work, including loading, unloading, stocking, staging, and order pulling. The position requires safe load securement, customer service, compliance with DOT requirements, and the ability to perform physical warehouse duties.

Job Responsibilities



  • Safely operate an automatic Class B flatbed truck with loads ranging from approximately 30,000 to 54,000 pounds.
  • Deliver materials according to scheduled delivery times and assigned routes.
  • Load and unload materials and properly secure loads using straps and other required equipment.
  • Assist with unloading materials at customer delivery sites as needed.
  • Verify materials, delivery tickets, purchase orders, packing lists, and customer signatures for accuracy.
  • Pick up customer returns and local pickup purchase orders.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Comply with all applicable DOT requirements and transportation safety regulations.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding delivery status, vehicle issues, accidents, violations, and other concerns.
  • Fuel the vehicle as needed and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Assist with warehouse operations, including stocking, staging, and pulling orders.
  • Operate a sit-down forklift as needed after completing required training and certification.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and return required paperwork to the warehouse.
  • Provide professional customer service at delivery locations.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum 1 year of experience driving vehicles in the same class as the assigned vehicle.
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) held for at least 1 year.
  • Required state-issued non-excepted interstate self-certification designation and documentation.
  • At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
  • Flatbed driving experience is preferred but not required; training may be provided to qualified candidates.
  • Warehouse experience is required.
  • Sit-down forklift experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to load, unload, stock, stage, and pull warehouse orders.
  • Ability to properly secure loads using straps and other required equipment.
  • Steel-toe work boots required.
  • Electronic logging experience is preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to follow DOT and workplace safety requirements.
  • Reliable, professional, and customer-service-oriented.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and warehouse personnel.


Additional Job Details (Commute, Attendance, etc.)



  • Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday.
  • Home daily; no weekend schedule.
  • Approximately 75% driving and 25% warehouse work.
