JOB SUMMARY

The Willow Pipeline Construction Coordinator supports the safe and successful delivery of the Willow Pipeline Program through day-to-day field oversight, contractor coordination, construction planning, interface management, and HSE leadership. Most of the workday will be spent in the field monitoring construction progress, identifying execution constraints, proposing solutions to complex issues, and coordinating interfaces among the Willow project, Company operating areas, and the pipeline contractor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Review construction permits and stipulations, engineering drawings, execution constraints, hazards, and contractor field work plans for each year's scope.

  • Participate in constructability reviews and provide feedback to planning team members and the Construction Supervisor.

  • Provide input to construction support strategies and processes, including camps, aviation, ground transportation, equipment, fuel forecasting, material delivery, and laydown requirements.

  • Promote knowledge sharing and apply best practices, synergies, and lessons learned from other projects and operations.

  • Support the transition of the approved Construction Plan to field execution.

  • Provide oversight of assigned construction resources to help achieve project milestones and meet Company requirements for scope, cost, quality, and HSE.

  • Monitor contractor work performance and provide the Construction Supervisor with feedback and improvement opportunities.

  • Support interface management between field construction contractors and Company operating entities.

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities under construction contracts to support delivery of contractual requirements.

  • Provide input to project execution and simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) involving Drilling, Completions, and Operations.

  • Support implementation of the approved execution strategy, priorities, and milestones.

  • Coordinate with the Construction Supervisor, contractor, client Logistics, and Materials teams to support timely delivery of required materials.

  • Proactively lead HSE performance by communicating, supporting, and reinforcing applicable policies, procedures, guidelines, requirements, and objectives.

  • Perform jobsite walk-downs, review contractor task hazard analyses and job hazard analyses, and recognize safe work execution and effective task planning.

  • Participate in contractor toolbox talks and safety meetings and reinforce client safety processes.

  • Validate adherence to permit stipulations issued by regulatory agencies.

  • Participate in safety engagement meetings with Company and contractor field leadership.

  • Participate in Client Site Safety Audits, Management by Walking Around activities, and Life Saving Rule Verifications.

  • Support the Client Incident Free Culture program through workshops, field engagements, instruction, and training.

  • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

  • Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of pipeline construction or related construction experience

  • Proven ability to manage interfaces involving multiple field construction contractors

  • Competency with Microsoft Word and Excel

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Construction, or a related field

  • 5+ years of construction experience in Arctic conditions

  • 5+ years of construction supervision or construction management experience

  • Demonstrated success working on a large project and interfacing with project leadership

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE

While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have its own accommodation and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The physical demands and work environment requirements outlined below are representative of those necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. A post-offer, pre-hire Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to ensure an employee's ability to safely meet job standards. Candidates must be able to comply with the ASRC Energy Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy, successfully pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both urinalysis and hair testing, and meet the physical requirements of working in a remote location under arctic conditions.
