Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8 AM - 5 PM + Opportunities for overtime

Job Duties

Core Diagnostics & Mechanical Repairs

• Perform on-site diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services on heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers.
• Perform off-site (breakdowns, at business) diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services on heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex vehicle systems, including electrical, anti-lock braking systems (ABS), air braking and pneumatic systems, transmissions, and differentials.
• Utilize computer diagnostic software and hardware to read error codes, analyze system performance, and clear active faults.

Testing & Quality Control

• Test-drive manual transmission vehicles and heavy equipment to evaluate performance, verify proper operation, and confirm repairs meet quality and safety standards.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-repair inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate service records, documenting work performed, diagnostic results, time spent, and parts utilized for each job.
• Follow all company safety protocols, DOT regulations, and industry standards to ensure a safe workspace for yourself and others.

Experience Requirements

• 3 years of diesel mechanic AND trailer repair experience
• Must pass DOT pre-employment screening
• Must have clear Motor Vehicle driving record
• Valid driver's license required
• Basic tools needed (you provide)
