Job Duties Assist customers at the parts counter with inquiries, pricing, quotes, and order placement Pull parts from warehouse shelves using pick tickets generated from sales orders Process customer requests for quotations and provide pricing, shipping dates, product availability, and anticipated delays Verify customer credit status and apply appropriate account terms to quotations and orders Enter customer sales orders and distribute documentation to appropriate departments Calculate prices, discounts, freight charges, and other applicable order costs Prepare purchase requisitions for parts and materials Communicate with purchasing regarding backorders and special-order requirements Coordinate with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, and freight carriers to resolve missing or delayed shipments Track outstanding orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery Recommend appropriate packaging and labeling for customer shipments Address customer complaints and resolve order discrepancies within established company guidelines Enter ordered parts into the sales system and generate pick tickets for warehouse fulfillment Assist with organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory Complete forklift training and operate equipment when authorized Maintain a clean and organized work environment Perform additional warehouse and customer service duties as assigned Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Additional education or training in business administration, inventory management, warehouse operations, or related fields is a plus. Equivalent work experience may be considered. Experience Requirements 2+ years of experience as a Parts Counter Associate, Parts Specialist, Warehouse Associate, Inventory Clerk, or Parts Sales Representative Ability to process customer orders, quotations, purchase orders, and sales documentation accurately Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management or order-entry systems Strong math skills for pricing, quantities, discounts, and shipping calculations Excellent organization, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities Ability to identify, locate, pick, and organize inventory accurately Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment Dependable attendance and commitment to workplace safety Preferred Qualifications Experience with diesel engines, heavy equipment, industrial machinery, marine equipment, truck parts, or mechanical components Experience using ERP, inventory tracking, and order management software Knowledge of shipping, receiving, freight coordination, and warehouse logistics Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience preferred Experience supporting commercial, industrial, fleet, transportation, or manufacturing customers Technical certifications, product knowledge, or industry-specific training are a plus Physical Capabilities Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift inventory throughout the warehouse Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull parts and materials safely Perform repetitive computer and data-entry tasks Alternate between customer-facing and warehouse responsibilities Safely operate warehouse equipment and material-handling tools Work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions Follow all safety procedures and required PPE guidelines Benefits Competitive Weekly Pay Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
