The basics of this position:

What you'll do:



  • Support STEM students in achieving educational goals by providing professional assistance appropriate to courses.
    Communicate regularly with faculty and colleagues to establish appropriate support to students.
  • Maintain order in tutoring environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Education, experience, and other requirements:


Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field. At least two years of relevant experience as STEM instructor or tutor preferably at a community college or academic STEM program.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in STEM subject or at least 18 hours graduate level STEM coursework. Proficient in online learning systems.
