Explorers Program Assistant- Part-time and full-time positions available for the 2025-26 school year

Assignment:
School year - part-time afternoon and full-time positions available at multiple elementary schools

Wages:

• $19.08 per hour
  • This position qualifies for a stipend from a DHS Stabilization Grant.

Primary Objective of Position:

1. To support and supervise children in grades K-5 before and after school at an elementary school site. Implement activities, manage program spaces and supervise children. Ensure the safety of all students.

Position Specific Responsibilities Might Include:

1. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
2. Attend monthly staff meetings.

Training and Experience:

1. Complete required child care, first aid & CPR training prior to the first day of employment. Online training links will be provided by employer.
2. Complete a required number of staff development hours annually.

Physical Requirements:

Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
