What you would do here:

Seven Corners is seeing an ambitious, self-starter to assist in a variety of marketing, communication, and brand initiatives for the Summer of 2024.

The essential functions of the summer internship will include:

• Assisting in the coordination of various marketing initiatives including editorial planning, social media, internal & external communications, marketing database building and collateral creation.
• Assist our Communications Specialist with the creation of our social media calendar with a heavy focus on our team profiles.
• Conduct industry-specific research with our Product Marketing Strategist.
• Assist with the coordination and planning of special projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams on new ideas, direction, and methods to enhance corporate marketing and communication efforts.

Learning objectives for the summer internship will include:

• Gain valuable insight into how a marketing department functions within a company.
• Develop an understanding of how a marketing strategy is built, and how that strategy feeds into the overall strategy for the organization.
• Learn the importance of brand and messaging consistency across all marketing mediums.
• Assist in developing new processes to streamline the activities of the marketing department.
• Gain on-the-job experience with common marketing tools and software.

Ideally you have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and with others; prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products: Excel, World, Outlook, PowerPoint.
