The Surgical Equipment Repair Specialist I role is to utilize both technical and mechanical skills for the precision repairs of surgical medical instruments. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Inspect, evaluate and test incoming equipment to determine serviceability and repair requirements Disassemble malfunctioning equipment and remove, repair, or replace defective parts Record keeping of maintenance, parts and repairs Perform outbound quality inspections Dependability Prepare instruments for shipping Other tasks as assigned or required REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma/GED Some skill with repairs typical of 1-2 years of employment
