JOB SUMMARY: Adjust and operate press brakes to perform forming, notching, bending and punching operations on a variety of standard work where procedures are prescribed and standardized. COMPETENCIES, QUALIFICATIONS, AND BASIC SKILL LEVELS: * High School education. Basic knowledge of material characteristics. Ability in blue print reading and math. Ability to some instruments for exacting measurements. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Adjust ram stroke to form materials to proper angle to and radii. Work may involve multiple pass operations for angle forming or compound radii. Proceed on work assignments with minimum of supervision. Work from drawings, specifications, patterns, or templates. Use scale, protractor, fixed angle and radii gauges. Work is under supervision and instruction given. Work is subject to process and final inspection. Other duties as instructed or directed by direct supervisor.
