Title: Buyer The Buyer is responsible to the purchasing department by: Processing of department paperwork and correspondence including purchase orders, acknowledgements, and requests for quotes Analysis of material requirements per agreed upon schedule Review for appropriate action related to exception messages Expediting and vendor contact Position requirements include: Previous purchasing experience with raw sheetmetal and other metals Fabrication experience This is a job shop and the pace is extremely fast paced...need to handle the work environment pace This will be a hand-on position in purchasing with the potential of eventually managing the department
