Nintendo Software Technology is a tight-knit game development studio located in Redmond, WA. As a Graphics Software Engineer I, you will have proven experience in graphics development specifically related to engine, shader, and tools/pipeline technologies. Experience with graphics programming API's such as OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX, and relevant programming experience in C++ or equivalent shading languages will help you to contribute to our engine.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:



  • Assists in developing, writing, testing, debugging and implementing code using the relevant programming languages.
  • Participates in product testing and maintenance activities as required by project management.
  • May assist in tool development with other engineers.
  • Applies professional expertise to review, analyze and test products under development as a contributing member of a production team to ensure delivery of Nintendo's high standard of quality and timeliness.
  • Participation in company-wide activities such as product review, analysis and testing as required.


SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • Understanding of computer science and software design principles.
  • Ability to read and debug other engineers' code.
  • Knowledge of the relevant programming languages (C/C++ and GLSL (or equivalent shading language)
  • Knowledge of an equivalent graphics programming API (OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX, Mantle, etc.)
  • Internship at a software development company preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent education and experience.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $88,129 - $132,193 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
