As a Pricing Analyst, you will support our organization's growth and success by providing accurate and comprehensive pricing and cost estimates for various proposals, projects, and contracts. We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented, motivated individual who enjoys crunching numbers and has relevant experience in supporting the federal government. This is a fast-paced position requiring attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to multi-task and thrive in a deadline-driven environment, and a willingness to work extended hours as needed to finish the job and see a proposal through to completion. A dedication to teamwork is an essential part of the job - we are building a great team that is eager to help one another.

This will be a remote position with office attendance on an as-needed basis.

This position will report directly to the Director of Pricing.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Manage all stages of the pricing proposal process to include RFP analysis, questions, market research, interfacing with internal and external team members, pricing reviews, and final pricing and written volume submission.
  • Review and interpret Government RFPs for cost/price volume requirements and ensure the final products are accurate and compliant with all instructions.
  • Assist in preparing proposal documents by providing accurate cost estimates and relevant financial data to enhance our bids' overall quality and competitiveness.
  • Design models, develop pricing strategies, perform financial analyses of costs and prices, and perform competitive analyses of pricing and offerings, increasing in size, value, and complexity.
  • Perform fact-finding with cross-functional proposal teams to ensure that all attributable cost elements are accounted for in the pricing solutions.
  • Builds simple to complex pricing and cost estimating models for multiple subsidiaries that include various levels of comparative, competitive, discount, and profit analysis.
  • Conduct thorough and detailed cost analysis for various projects, bids, and contract proposals. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather all necessary data and information to create accurate estimates.
  • Conduct appropriate levels of market research to ensure and justify fair and reasonable pricing.
  • Leverage open-source data and public information to research and build market and potential partner/competitor profiles.
  • Create and respond to partner and subcontractor data calls and general information requests.
  • Present pricing strategy to leadership and Prepare reports and presentations for management and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Ensure cost volume accuracy, including BOE completeness. Initiate internal files for peer reviews and pricing management reviews. Create customer submittal files. Maintain auditable pricing files and proposal artifacts.
  • Identify potential risks and uncertainties impacting project costs. Work closely with project teams to develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in daily interactions with cross-functional capture teams (BD, Program Control, Contracts, HR) and Project Services.
  • Communicate pricing requirements, collect basis of estimate (BOE) data, present proposal status, and review pricing iterations.
  • Stay current with relevant government regulations, contracting requirements, and accounting principles to ensure our cost estimation practices are fully compliant.
  • After award, monitor and review contract performance to identify any pricing discrepancies or financial risks.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams regarding pricing strategies, contract terms, and pricing adjustments.



Basic Qualifications:



  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a pricing role with a federal government contractor.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Understanding of general Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and specific experience with Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) and contract by negotiation.
  • Ability to and experience with facilitate and lead kick-off, status, and review meetings.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis software, such as Microsoft Excel, and experience with cost-estimating tools and databases.
  • Must be able to work independently and develop and succinctly recommend pricing strategies to drive revenue and profit utilizing knowledge of data, research, and trends.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights to support decision-making.
  • Ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cost estimates and financial forecasts.
  • Strong team player who can collaborate effectively across departments and work towards common goals.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to efficiently meet tight deadlines and handle multiple concurrent projects


Desired Qualifications:




  • Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst - CCEA) are advantageous.
